The Impact of Procurement Practices on Construction Project Effectiveness in Tanzania: A Partial Analysis of Public Projects
Abstract:
This study explored how procurement processes influence the effectiveness of public building projects in Tanzania. A quantitative research approach was used to analyse the key factors affecting procurement practices and their impact on project outcomes. The findings showed that procurement practices significantly affect project efficiency, productivity, and quality within the construction sector. The study also identified various challenges and opportunities in Tanzania's construction industry and recommended improvements in procurement methods to boost overall project performance.
