Authorship and Contributionship
CRAJ’s Commitment
The Contemporary Research and Analysis Journal (CRAJ) champions cutting-edge, interdisciplinary research to advance global knowledge. Upholding rigorous ethical standards, CRAJ ensures transparency in authorship and contributorship, fostering trust and integrity in scholarly publishing.
Authorship Eligibility
Authorship in CRAJ is reserved for those who significantly contribute to the research and its dissemination. To be an author, individuals must meet all of the following:
- Core Contribution: Substantially contributed to the study’s conception, design, data acquisition, or analysis.
- Manuscript Development: Drafted or critically revised the manuscript for intellectual rigor.
- Final Review: Approved the final manuscript before submission.
- Responsibility: Assumed accountability for the work’s accuracy and integrity.
Recognizing Contributors
Those who support the research but do not meet authorship criteria should be acknowledged. Contributions may include:
- Technical or logistical assistance.
- Administrative or supervisory support.
- Funding or data collection efforts.
Such roles are noted in the manuscript’s Acknowledgements.
Corresponding Author Role
The corresponding author is the primary contact, responsible for:
- Verifying all authors meet CRAJ’s criteria.
- Coordinating with the journal during submission, review, and publication.
- Ensuring compliance with CRAJ’s policies.
Collaborative Group Authorship
For large-scale research, a group may be listed as the author, with individual contributors acknowledged in the manuscript, specifying their roles.
Authorship Changes
Post-submission changes to authorship (e.g., additions, removals, or reordering) require written consent from all authors and a clear rationale submitted to CRAJ.
Authorship Dispute Resolution
CRAJ follows Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines to resolve authorship disputes. The editorial team may request documentation to ensure fair outcomes.
Ethical Publishing
Authors submitting to CRAJ affirm their contributions’ accuracy and commit to the journal’s standards of research integrity and ethical publishing.
